Look at this! Too cute. I need to make something like this for myself and the kids. Hmmm. Ideas are spinning.

If you consider staying awake until 3:30 a.m, while watching Cheers reruns worth it, it was instant gratification. I started it at around 9:00 p.m. and finished it at 3:30 in the morning- almost occasionally dosing off. But I love it! I wanted to be done with it and gift it to a good friend of mine. It’s my first amigurumi project and I *will* be making more. Here she is! I’m so happy. Those prickles were hard to get the hang of though.
I am planning on entering the Reconathon on thefabricfloozie.com. I have my ideas planned out and I’m so thrilled. I think it will turn out cute. I’m going to test it out this week and then I will execute on the planned skirt.
I have re-discovered my love for knitting. I had taken a break from it for a while. But being back on Ravelry has inspired me. I am in the process of knitting a hat for myself.
However, I have found a challenge. It’s a coat for S. It’s beautiful! I have plenty of time to make it. But, it’s all in seed stitch and I’ve never done seed stitch before. It’s a coat. A coat for a 18-24 month (which I hope fits her well by the time it’s all done). I’ve already dreamt of its chocolate brown color.
I guess crochet will go to the backseat. Move back beside me knitting. Welcome back.
